Issy Lydia- Photographer

Hi i’m Issy Lydia a beginner photographer currently taking a gap year before starting a Press and Editorial course in September of 2022. I would like to get into doing event photography and the graphic design side of photography a lot more than I am as i really enjoy being more creative outside of what the normal and "simple" photography.

I am hoping to get a lot of mini events photographed on my year out so that I have a fair bit to work on during my free time at university. 

 

Before my gap year I was studying the UAL L3 Photography Diploma at Truro College. After college i'm hoping to go to university after finishing my course in 2021.

 I choose photography as it is very inspiring, every photographer has a very unique and interesting style, and I love developing my own style. My dream job ever since I was younger was to become a photographer, either for weddings or concerts. I started getting into photography at quite a young age, I got a really cheap basic first camera at the age of 7 or 8. Looking back on the pictures I took now each image had a really good composition without realising that I was doing it or what I was doing.

 

The main thing I love about photography is that it's a way for me to see the world differently and  to show how I see the world. It's a great way to get creative with no-one to tell you how to do it, what to do, or whether it's right or wrong.
